Suddenly in love with white.

I just look around myself and I see white. Maybe it is just because I am tired of all these dark colours of an extended winter, or maybe it is because it is actually happening that passion for white is spreading everywhere. Continue reading Suddenly in love with white.

Fuorisalone in Milan #004# – France Design “Les Talents Français du Design à Milan”

At my fifth year in Milan for the Fuoisalone by now I know exactly where to go to find good design.
So, as every year, my first choice is via Tortona, an area that seems made for this type of event.
And is France Design that this time catch my attention: under the name of VIA, a very unique platform of the progress (managed by Gérard Laizé since 1994) that promotes and finances creations in the field of furnishing, layout and interior design, the leading figures of the French design are put together to show their creations in a single venue at Padiglione Visconti.
And here you actually can see “Les Talents Français du Design à Milan” in a big exhibition of products that basically show you all the different ways to do design.
In here we found products that define the space with their shapes and colours, or with low environmental impact, rather than high-tech creations, up to the use of uncommon materials for forniture as the linen fiber and the experimentation of the knitwear for interior design.

Three big groups, gli Aides à la création VIA – Monde Commun, Material Matters 2 by Particule14 and Les Editeurs, a selection of French design producers, one goal: create someting big for a better living.
